CISD Baker-Koonce Int. School Ribbon Cutting & Open House
Carthage ISD invites the community to the ribbon cutting and open house for the newly remodeled Baker-Koonce Intermediate School on Sunday, October 27, at 2 p.m.
This remodel, funded by the 2023 Carthage ISD Bond, includes improvements such as a modernized Learning Resource Center, featuring expanded spaces with collaboration areas, makerspaces and enhanced technology. Studies show that well-maintained, updated facilities positively impact student performance, attendance, and overall well-being.
“We are incredibly grateful to the taxpayers of Carthage ISD for making this project possible,” said Superintendent Jarrod Bitter. “We intend to take great care of this facility, ensuring it serves our Bulldogs for years to come, and we hope the community is as proud of this project as we are.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the upgraded facility and see how it supports modern learning
